Kayaking differs from canoeing due to the shape of the vessel, the sitting position of the paddler and the number of blades on the paddle. A kayak is defined by the International Canoe Federation (the world sanctioning body) as a boat where the paddler faces forward, legs in front, using a double-bladed paddle. Kayaks generally have closed decks, however “sit-on-top” kayaks and inflatable kayaks are becoming more popular.
Kayaking can be a great group activity. Whether team members are new to the sport and fancy an introduction or have experienced paddlers looking to be guided safety down a new river, we can accommodate.
We can cater for indivduals and small or large groups, making use of the spectacular lakes, river and seas of the UK. We can offer kayak hire and organised trips on the River Wye, River Thames and River Severn.
We also offer training courses for beginner to advanced levels.
